Course Description
An essential introduction for those involved in preparation and serving of food and drink. Candidates successfully completing a short exam will be awarded the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Officers.
This one-day course allows the individual to identify their role in the food chain, understand the importance of good hygiene practices, explain the methods for preventing food poisoning, state the requirements of legislation and the associated need for good personal hygiene.
