What does the Level 2 award offer you?

This qualification gives you the chance to gain formal recognition of your performance in the workplace. It introduces the key aspects of business improvement techniques and business improvement in the work place; the qualification consists of seven mandatory units, with a combined credit value of 8.
Access to this qualification

Whilst there are no formal entry requirements you do need to be working at the appropriate level to demonstrate competence. Ideally learners undertaking this qualification should be practising or potential team leaders.
 
What does this Qualification cover?

This qualification assesses your competence against key areas of team leading and aims to give practising team leaders a substantial knowledge of business improvement techniques and business improvement skills.

This qualification is made up of seven mandatory units. In the first unit ‘business improvement techniques’, learners look at the importance of quality and improvement within an organisation they are familiar with. The remaining six mandatory units aim to develop a wide range of related team leading skills including effective team working, health and safety in the workplace, meeting customer requirements and methods of communication in the workplace.
