Which Qualification is best?

 The Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management aims to provide practising managers with the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform effectively as coaches or mentors.

 The Level 5 Diploma for Professional Management Coaches and Mentors aims to prepare participants looking to aspire into a development role within their organisation as a management coach or mentor.
What does the Level 5 Certificate offer you?

This qualification gives you the chance to gain formal recognition of your performance in the workplace. It introduces the key aspects to enable you to understand, develop and demonstrate knowledge and skills in workplace coaching and mentoring; the three mandatory units, these units have a combined credit value of 13, along with a work based assignment (WBA) and coaching diary.

What does the Level 5 Diploma offer you?

This qualification is designed for participants who are extremely involved in management coaching and mentoring within an organisation; you would complete four mandatory units with a combined credit value of 37 along with work based assignment (WBA) and coaching diary.

Access to this qualification

Whilst there are no formal entry requirements you do need to be working at the appropriate level to demonstrate competence. Ideally learners undertaking this qualification will be practising managers with responsibility for developing working relationships with colleagues and team members, in their department or organisation and should hold an ILM Level 3 qualification in first line management, or ILM level 5 qualification in management.
